CODE INFORMATION:
The ASME A17.1 and ASME A17.1-2002 requires, in Section 2.2.2.5, that for all elevators with Firefighter's Emergency Operation a drain or sump pit and pump shall be provided.

DESCRIPTION:
The Elevator Sump Pump and Oil Alarm System allows water to be automatically pumped from the elevator pit, in accordance with the above code, without risk of pumping oil into the municipal wastewater system. The Elevator Sump and Oil Alarm System is the most cost effective method to meet code requirements.
